Ken Seibel

Ken Seibel is a Senior Consultant to Brookwood Group. He has unsurpassed experience as a large-scale project and design management expert specializing in Mechanical/Electrical systems resulting from complex building designs with advanced environmental sustainability requirements.

Ken has worked on projects world wide as a consultant with some of the most well-known construction and development firms. Since 2003 he has served as principal of International Construction Professional Services, Inc. From 1998 to 2003, Ken worked for Tishman Speyer Properties in the capacities of Director of Engineering, Western Region and Senior Director Engineering & Operations Europe. From 1986 to 1998, Ken was with Lehrer McGovern Bovis (Malaysia)/Bovis (Malaysia)/Bovis Asia Pacific/Lehrer McGovern Bovis/Lehrer McGovern International.

Ken managed and coordinated the MEP design and construction for the first phase of Canary Wharf in London. At the time Canary Wharf was the largest commercial construction project in Europe, encompassing some 5,000,000 square feet. He followed in a similar role for the Petronas Twin Tower (KLCC) project in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, which was the tallest building in the world at that time.

From 1984 to 1986, Ken was Vice President of Purchasing for the Naiman Company in San Diego. From 1972 to 1984, he served in Design and Construction Management for Mechanical/Electrical Services for Hines Interests in Houston. Ken coordinated and was responsible for the MEP design management of many Hines’ projects across the United States including 101 California and 580 California in San Francisco.

Ken has a Master of Mechanical Engineering from the University of Houston and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Kansas State University. He is registered Professional Engineer and in 2008 received a “Super Hero Award” from the United States Green Building Council, Northern California Chapter. He was a Member of the San Francisco “Mayor’s Green Building Task Force,” 2007.

Ken and his family live in Las Vegas, Nevada.
